Free event ticketing that is actually free
Partache takes no platform fee and adds no booking fee. The only cost on a paid ticket is Stripe's card fee, and this page shows you exactly what that is.
The whole price list fits on one table
Here is everything that can be taken from a ticket sold on Partache. Most of it is zero.
| Cost | Partache | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free tickets and RSVPs | £0 | No fee to issue free tickets, however many you give out. |
| Platform fee on paid tickets | 0% | Partache takes nothing from your ticket sales, on Free or Pro. |
| Booking fee for guests | £0 | Guests pay the price you set. |
| Setup | £0 | No setup fee and no contract. |
| Card processing | Stripe's fee | 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards; 2.8% + 20p premium UK cards; 2.5% + 20p EEA cards; 3.15% + 20p international cards (+2% if currency conversion is needed). |
What you keep from each ticket
One ticket per order, paid with a standard UK card. The 20p is per payment, so when a guest buys several tickets in one order, it's only charged once.

Start hosting freeWhat "free" usually means in event ticketing
Plenty of ticketing platforms describe themselves as free. Usually that means one of three things, and it's worth knowing which before you publish.
Free for free events only
Many platforms don't charge for free events but take a service fee from every paid ticket. That fee is often a percentage plus a fixed amount per ticket, so it hits cheaper tickets hardest.
Free to the host, paid by the guest
Some platforms pass their fee to the buyer as a booking fee. You receive your full ticket price, but your guests pay more than the price on your poster, and they notice at checkout.
Free with a subscription
Others remove per-ticket fees in exchange for a monthly plan you have to pay to sell at all. That can work for large organisers but is expensive if you run one event a month.
How Partache is different
On Partache, the platform fee is zero on every ticket, there's no booking fee, and you don't need a paid plan to sell. The only deduction is the card processing fee that Stripe charges to move the money, which any online payment has to pay somewhere. You can see every payment in your own Stripe dashboard.

Is Partache really free for event hosts?
Yes. There is no platform fee on tickets, no booking fee added for guests and no setup fee. The Free plan covers everything you need to run events. On paid tickets, the only cost is Stripe's card processing fee, which Stripe takes from the payment.
What is Stripe's fee on a ticket?
For standard UK cards, Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p per payment. Premium UK cards are 2.8% + 20p, EEA cards 2.5% + 20p and international cards 3.15% + 20p, plus 2% if the payment needs a currency conversion. These are Stripe's published UK rates as of September 2026.
Do guests pay a booking fee?
No. Partache doesn't add anything to your ticket price. If a ticket is £12, the guest pays £12.
Who pays the Stripe fee, me or the guest?
The host. Stripe deducts its fee from each payment before it reaches your balance. If you want to cover it, you can set your ticket price slightly higher.
Are free tickets free for guests too?
Yes. Free tickets cost nothing for you or your guests, and they still come with a QR code, check-in and your guest list.
What does Pro add?
Pro is an optional plan at £19 a month. Events go live as soon as you publish them, and you get extras such as your own branding, custom URLs, advanced analytics, a customer database, marketing automation and team logins. Pro doesn't change ticket fees: there is still no platform fee.
Is there a limit on how many tickets I can sell?
No. There is no cap on events or tickets on either plan.
